Kilbarrack United FC are sorry to announce that Senior First Team Manager Brian Mooney has stepped down from his role. Brian had a hugely successful first season in management with the club, securing the LSL Senior 1B title and putting a solid structure in place for future success. While Brian will remain involved at Kilbarrack United FC, work and career development opportunities have meant that he has had to step away from the First Team Manager role. The club is extremely grateful for all of the hard work Brian has put into the development of the senior set up and wish him the very best.
Kilbarrack United FC are delighted to confirm that Ross Carrig will be taking over from Brian as Senior First Team Manager. Ross joined the club over a year ago as player / coach, working alongside Brian with the first team. Ross’ playing record speaks for itself, as one of the most capped Irish Amateur Internationals ever, as well has his numerous trophies across many top clubs in Dublin. Kilbarrack United FC are extremely happy to have someone of Ross’ calibre take over the reigns from Brian to ensure a smooth transition and future success. We wish Ross every success in his first management role. The club is also happy to report that Keith Daly and David Jackson will support Ross with the first team setup.
Speaking to kilbarrackunited.com Mooney said “I would like to thank the committee and players for their amazing work over the past 18 months. I will be working on several small things with the club over the next nine months alongside my work and college commitments. I wish my close friend Ross Carrig all the best and have no doubt he will build on last season’s success”.
